Is it still possible to get a 50 in a subject if you lose 5 marks or more SACs?

Just because your cohort is weak doesn't mean you CAN'T get 40+
Sure, they may weigh you down, but if you do well in both exams and SACs, you'll get there in the end for sure!

I lost a bunch of marks on my last spesh sac giving me a sac mark of 94/100. However I was still rank 1 and so losing only half a mark on the exams gave me a 50.

For methods, the only guy in my class who got a 50 was ranked about 6th-7th in sacs. Pretty much it all depends on how well you do in the exam that determines if you get a 50

Mmm but do you go to a high performing school? If i get ranked 6-7th at my school it's a sign I'm not going very well, especially in a cohort of just 25 students. This sucks

Although I wouldn't consider my school a high-performing one, the median study score for my methods class was around 39. The top study score was a 50 at rank 6, then me with a 48 rank 1 and 116/120 on exams, then a 45 for rank 5, a 44 for rank 2,3,4. Some of those people with 44 got an A on the first exam and A+ on the 2nd exam

except for the fact i hate english, compared to my other subjects that all have a definate answer, english you have to persuade.
does everyone who got 40+ not feel confident when doing English essays, persuasive pieces etc etc or is it just me?

xD that happens heaps for me. Like not the teacher saying it is crap part, but when I look at the same piece 3-4 months later, I cringe at how crap it is.
