If you do crap on one SAC yeah its only 5% or whatever. Not a big chunk of your mark, right?

If your in a position where you've done shit on a SAC (And i know i have :D) you're probably either slacking off a bit more than you should (your lazy... im guilty of this) or you dont firmly grasp or suck at the subject (im here in methods). Then again, theres the odd off chance you just messed up pretty bad on one occasion but i wouldnt put it down to this. Cold hard facts as i see em anyway.

So, back to my original line, if your doing bad in one SAC cause of some of the above factors... its probably an indication you wont do so great in the others (unless the crap mark has shown you the right way and makes you work even harder to fix your errors and study harder).

Not too cheerful is it?

[Not sure if this makes sense..its 5 am..yeah..]

I do not trust my sacs, simply because my school is one of the more under-performing ones. An A+ here, cannot possibly be guarranteed as 40 raw material.. So I find it a bit disappointing, if I do alright on a sac but I know it's not indicative at all. Whereas I am sure, people in macrob and PLC can probably rest assured.

I thought my year 12 was screwed. Until I got my French SAC back. Lesson learnt: you have a number of subjects, a heap of exams and even more SACs. It's too early to be 'screwed'. Don't say that until you've finished all of your exams and know how you went.

I had exactly this same feeling. Just work on getting to VCAA standards and you'll do fine. An A+ at your school is the same as an A+ at a better school if you score the same exam result, so just focus on keeping that A+ and smashing the exam ;)

I did much better than I was expecting. It depends on how you define well, but French was my worst subject last year, so...

I see :). I quite miss French, but given the circumstances I don't regret.  Year 12 is quite a hurricane, I haven't really been applying myself as much as I would've liked to.

Really? You can still average it out if you do well in all the other SACs

If so, you gotta pick up your game man!
