I have a PDF of the NOB book.  I'll read the AoS 1 section, and tell you how it compares to heinemann.  Most schools tend to use it, and even though our school uses Heinemann, our teacher gave us a photocopy of Chapter 4 from NOB, because she said they explain rational drug design really well.
Lol I have the NOB, but I got it from a previous student... so it came with a broken CD. I don't even have the ebook for NOB :(

heinemann is pretty good.  it is missing some stuff though, like not mentioning globular and fibrous proteins.  the way in which tRNA and mRNA is explained is also rather lame.

Photosynthesis can also get confusing with all of those NADH carriers.

Omg agreed, it doesn't mention anything about the globular and fibrous proteins! >:(
The explanation for cellular respiration (Krebs cycle and electron transport) is not very good, hence why I'm not really confident about it :(
Oh yes if someone could upload a pdf of the NOB or Nelson it would be gladly appreciated!

I've had a pretty good look on the forums using search and can't seem to find it. It would be awesome if you could point me to it or upload it, no rush at all.

No, we aren't blind because that thread only contains NOB PDFs, even though someone said they would post nelson, but posted NOB instead :) Any idea where the actual thread is?
