I used it 4 yrs ago.. from memory:
you need to * create customer card files by typing in their names phone numbers addresses etc, plus extra info that is optional
* type in your business account, so its similar to editing your personal info
* then add new stock items to your system by entering your item name, item price, and also, quantity
mmmm.. also, don't forget to pick the correct currency... I accidently changed it to chinese Yuan and it pissed the customers off bad.. LOL
then, you can start creating invoice!, just type in item numbers, and you are there, if you can't remember the item number, there's always a list for you to select the correct item XD

Edit: also, you can give your customer discounts!,,, and if you like, you can also just change the price on the invoice and it won't affect the permanent price of the item
