Does your school stop teaching many weeks before exams?

We have the whole exam week off at our school
Even if you dont have any midyears you get the whole week off
Lucky people who dont do sciences get a whole week free ):

Chemistry- our teacher dilberately made us do chapters 1-5 over the summer holidays just so we'd finish 4 weeks before exams
Bio, we're a bit through detecting and responding now but i think we're supposed to finish a week or two before?

We have the actual exam week off, so theres a plus.

I wasnt aiming for no classes and get all the weeks before exam off, just in those classes that we would do revision instead of learning (Eg in chem do revision things rather than learn new things and still have all my other normal classes like english ect)

Oh well not much i can do i guess..still what a retarded decision

When do your schools do practise exams? My school does it the week before the actual exam, in my opinion it's a little too late and will cause even more stress!

@kingpomba, omg you're really behind My class was really behind but now we've picked up the pace, and I think you'll be fine with the rest of the chapters as they are short (well a couple are ).

We start our official practise exams (proper conditions in the exam center etc) about four weeks before.

Not sure actually, our school doesn't really tell us anything.

But i have sacs leading up to it. (3 sacs week before chem exam)
