surely ur all exaggerating, i know it isnt the safest of places but it isnt that bad. footscray station is hell though :P

easiest way would involve getting on and off at footscray station if ur coming from the city :P

Considering the cleanliness of the yarra, (that rowers apparently have to have a chemical shower if they fall in apparently) I don't think it's all that safe.
