It does practically nothing. Don't worry about it. I had 2 hours of sleep before my GAT in year 12 and did pretty poorly and it didn't affect me whatsoever. The main importance I know of for it is that it can act as an insurance in the case you're sick for your 3/4 exam, in which they will derive your exam score based off your GAT results.

The result is unlikely to be used however it is still important. There is no point worrying about it though, that wont help your performance at all.

You don't really need to study for it. The results will be different anyway. I got full marks when I did the maths/science paper from 2008, but then that area ended up being my lowest score.

Why would you bother? D: We've basically already said it's almost pointless. But yeh, schools usually will have past papers. We were forced to do them at school, although no one really took it seriously.

oh my... past papers?!
Hahahaha that's ridiculous!

tony- don't even think about it, it's just a waste of time for most people & it's pointless to study for.

The gat isnt really that important to you and GAT practice papers are so long and such a drainer, i didnt do any practice papers and got top 5% for humanities and averageish or a little above for math/logic/science & english.

So yeah.. most people i know just showed up... infact one of my mates just circled A B C D D B C A A B C D D B C A ect... and quickly rushed his writing mentioned who we were meant to mention in the GAT (i forget) and yeah..

Depends on your school. We were allowed to leave after 1 hour but my friend's school made them stay the whole time.
