Haha I was indecisive for weeks on dropping Chinese, actually I was thinking about dropping it before school year even started. Right now I don't really regret it, but nor do I feel proud for doing it. There are beneficial and detrimental consequences which cancel out to create a neutral feeling lol.

Lol why did you drop chinese? I feel like dropping it now..doing so bad in all the sacs

1 ~ Almost certain 7th subject
2 ~ I was doing absolutely no work for it and was still pressed for time with my other subjects, so I really couldn't see how things would work out when I would have to prepare for Chinese exam

I didn't hate the subject however, it was probably one of my favourite subjects tbh.

Wow really 7th subject? Even with the scaling?

Yeah true Chinese is gonna be a bitch come exam time. I hate it now probably cause of my teacher. But no chance of dropping it, parents would disown me. LOL

i cant see how anyone can do chinese in year 12 along with 6 subjects, its so insane, u have to memorise shitloads of stuff if u wanna do well, or maybe u just get lucky and still do well but the latter has a smaller probability

Do you really think it will be that bad? I'm already doing my general conversation and detailed study this year too...

OT: If you think methods is going to be your 7th subject and that you can easily achieve about 30 in it then you may was well continue it and with minimal effort it serves as a pre-requisite for many uni courses.

I dono about others but personally if i had to do chinese in year 12, i would do either really good in chinese and bad in other subjects or do good in other subjects and bad in chinese, a tradeoff.
