If anyone has got some good sample responses or is doing atonement and can give me some hints on how to write this it wuld be sooo much help.

Well it all depends on what you're doing.
Play? Movie? Book?
Try and list all the similarities and differences between your two texts, and explain how it has been achieved. Just somewhere to start :P

What I did (and what my teacher was encouraged) was to get a really good idea of what you think the text says and what the point of view of the author is, and then compare it to the movie. Half of mine was just a very detailed description of the point of view of the novel and then a description of how the director either tries and fails or just doesn't both to include that aspect. Obviously it depends on what you're studying though.
