Oh wow...that would really suck if they made a calculating pH question the significant figures question, I had no idea about the log rule lol

Thank god! But stone, I think its a good idea to do a few extra dp so that if you somehow stuff up the calculation in calculator and lose previous value, you can still use the fairly accurate value on paper instead of redoing everything again to get the same degree of accuracy.
