Explain how the introduction of a control account and subsidiary ledger improves the control of creditors?
Would i be better off explaining the inbuilt checking mechanism or the allocation of responsibility?

How would a firm benefit from a negative financing cash flow?
They could be repaying more principle from the loans thus reducing the interest on loan?

- can keep an ongoing balance of creditors at any point in time
- like you said, the inbuilt cross checking mechanism ensuring less errors/mistakes made

If the business had recieved a deficit for operating cash flows, they would be using capital contribution or external sources of finance (loans) to help ensure the firm receives a net increase in cash for the period
