There was a funnier one where the nextdoor neighbour was a better match for some organ transport than the mother father and brother

June Exam 2006 Assessment report Q5c

Many incorrect statements were given that incorporated ideas such as the divers ‘breathing under water’. Breathing must be done out of water. Students should think about appropriate experiences in their own day-to-day living in order to help them to better understand a particular/unfamiliar situation.

Nice, that's an A+ according to last years statistics isn't it? A+ cut offs were 120-150.

im pretty sure it was 132/150 .. ( 88% ) ...
but maybe im wrong ...

um nah i marked myself easy .. the examiners .. i would have got like 80 or high 70% .. so probs a B+ or an A ......
im a dud in bio haha .. i can never apply knowledge .. half the questions are like ... conclude this .. or .. make an experiment ..or .. which one is better .. etc etc ... always make silly mistakes

I got 85% as well. My teacher marked it and if I hadn't got the half marks I would've been 1 mark off the A+ if it had been the actual exam...

On last years exam, I thought the leaf question was shit.  What does leaf colour changing have to do with anything.

I got 136/150.  A little disappointed, made a really dumb mistake by overlooking an arrow.  But I didn't sit for the full time, so I guess I may have picked up on a few things had I sat there and gone over it.

Yeh wth. Assessment report says that answer is:
Both of:
• X sheds its leaves
• the leaves change colour as the pigments are broken down or moved out of the leaves.
This question was not well answered. Often students incorrectly stated that the decrease in pigments was due to the loss
of leaves, yet the data given was for the amount of pigments per leaf.

Just because the leaves change colour doesn't necessarily mean that the plant sheds it leaves...
