Haha did you guys all have really cold hands compared to when you were doing practice exams :P?
When someone uploads it, who took it from the room (which is allowed - gotta ask afterwards) then we can mark it.

Ah so this will happen? Awesome!

I'm confident with the MC except for the one asking which one has the self receptor ? I guessed for C for that one but everyone said it was B?

What about the antibody question asking how blocking the receptor it would make a vaccine more effective? That was the one question i left out because I didnt know how it was increase the effectiveness :/

i made up gibberish and said the protein cant decide if its plasma or memory cell
so the vaccine will make the body work hard to release both

For the self receptor one, it was the one which had 2 proteins on the surface that fitted into each other.

For the blocking one, i wrote...well i just forgot what i wrote.. ill need more of the question to remember but i think it was like a semi-trick question, it sounded like one thing but you had to read it again then i was like oooh it meant this...

Oh god, MC is turning into a disaster.  Especially if that one wasn't cell S.
-Bloody chose glycolipid instead of carbohydrate
-Chose the wrong launday enzyme, the one with the highest temp

That is like four marks lost.  Was it the cat or the negative control for that question?

I also chose glycolipid, carbohydrate wasnt there was it? I narrowed it down to glycolipid or something protein i think... maybe..i dont remember but it was like a retarded answer

The negative control was the saline solution, which wasnt an option, so if you circled if something was the negative control , it was wrong.

William keeps his cat is the correct answer, since he showed no positive response to the cat antigens in the test.

If your correct kingpomba, then that is only two marks gone.  Yay.

I knew histamine was the positive control, not the negative.  People were trying to tell me otherwise.

Was it cell S for the receptor one kingpomba.  I completely didn't even think to do what you did...
Cell S was option B if that helps to remind you.

Yeah i did glycolipid too. There wasnt anything else it could be i dont think? It had the same structure as a glycoprotein except it was attached to the lipid.

For that membrane with the porous thing, does that "regulate and take part in the movement of water molecules across the membrane"? I kind of guessed that one

And stonecold, everyone I've asked answered B for that one ;] except me LOL :D

i just wrote for things that can't pass through the membrane...

what you did sounds right to me though.
