Last few questions

Just a few last-minute areas I'm having difficulties with

(1) What exactly is the cortical space allocation in both the somatosensory and motor cortexes. it would be good if someone could list it in order of most space to least space :)

(2) Whats the difference between cognitive, perceptual and behavioural

and finally (3) for questions such as

Name and describe two psychological charactertistics of ASCs which would be different to NWCs

would it be ok to simply say

- Time: We have a distorted sense of time during ASCs when compared to NWCs

- Awareness: Less awareness during ASCs when compared to NWCs

is that enough information?

1) Areas of the body which are dedicated more of the cerebral cortex. Parts with more sensitivity and that require finer movements are dedicated more cortical space. Theres a picture in the grvias textbook of a model, some weird looking creature homo-something that is good to remember because it jogs your mind. The creature has bigger hands and lips, a large head and a small body - in line with the amount of cortex each part is dedicated.

2) Cognitive (thought processes)- mental processes such as logical thinking, planning, sequential reasoning
Perceptual (perceptions)- time, space, place, opinion
Behaviours (actions)- hand tremors, shaky voice, irritability

3) close.
ASCs may be associated with a distorted sense of time and place.
Try to say time and place, one or the other is probably ok.

Awareness is not specific enough.

- Loss of identity/sense of self
- inability to control emotions (aggression, feelings of depression, etc.)

^ better options, not hard to remember.

The penis is a very bloody sensitive organ okay! There's a fricking sympathetic nerve innverating the area. Of course it's gotta be big :P

If I can make my pecs bounce. And you cant. Does that mean my pecs would be better represented on a personal homunculus?
