i thought it was c, after taking the torque you get C, but it doesnt make sense. the total force is 4000N at the central point, therefore each point would exert 2000N :s

No. The total torque is 4000Nm, the total force is 2000N (1200+800).

It's not 4000N it's only 2000N. And it splits evenly. Therefore 1000N each.

Here it is in an easy to read, file size friendly merged PDF - Note, i just used OCR software on the images already uploaded - Note 2 for some strange reason some pages are smaller then the others.... beats me...

I had to reduce the size of some pages, so that they could fit the upload limit of 2mb.
