Advertising expense
« on: June 09, 2010, 05:50:22 pm »
Say i said that advertising was overstated by 3000, then when i closed the expense accounts i also put 3000 advertising expense, is that counted as 1 mark lost or 2?

lol same, i wrote Advertising expense overstated by 3000 and then i wrote it in the closing entry. :/
Do we get a mark out of two for writing Overstated but wrong figure?
It's all over now..

I'm pretty sure with the Under/Over/No Effect Q's that it is one mark per line.
I.e.: you have to get both the amount and whether it is under/over/no effect to get the mark.

what was the answer to this question?

isnt it 3000 because they say the 9000 is the only advertising contract that hasnt been settled

hence

3000 would be the expense?

There's also 29000 written off.
