6d- something like: Because transferase is unable to catalyse the synthesis of glycolipids they will not accumulate.

Do you think it was required to mention the secondary pathway to produce compound T?

Definitely, there's is your two marks, and there is my one mark. Shize!! That's what happens when you rush. I was thinking to myself... But wait, isn't the product of this reaction important in some way?

I said compound P could then be broken down in a different enzymatic pathway.  Dunno if it's right.

Damn, i only referred to the top half since i thought the transferase broke down the glycolipid in that one reaction

Stupid information scattered into three bits. So confusing lol

Needed to say compount T could be produced by a different pathway, might get marked down for saying Compound P, because it's compound R that gets broken down in the secondary pathway

That sucks so much. I've counted up, and I've lost at least 10 marks from the 75. FML. I just really want some feedback on a) the stupid washing machine q and b) the red vs. blue light q.

Same man, I am shattered... Left the exam room feeling awesome. Come on VCE notes - 1 mark lost. Exam gets posted up - omg hell O_O

EDIT: Should still be contending for an A+ though, harder exam this year, my year level barely finished and I know of several other schools in the same situation. A+ cutoffs should drop :P

Yep, I just cringe when I look at the paper. I'm not a diagram person.

Hey this is true - 2006 cut off was 72%. And that was way easier than this exam. 70?

honestly felt like 85% + when i left the exam

just looked at the exam
made simple mistakes .. forgot to put in states for reactions
forgot to put the H+ with cr2072-

forgot to draw 0- on the structure

forgot it was 7  bonds instead 6 and also i messed up the formula

stuffed up the units of one of the questions

messed up bunsen burner question

i calculated .. about 65% .... thats a C .... im so anoyed
