those who finished methods in yr 11 and scored above 40 have a higher tendency to get 40+ for spesh in year 12

this a trend that is repeated in pretty much every school that allows you to take methods in yr 11. but i think it's probs more.....43+ in methods in yr 11 should get you  40+ in spech in yr 12

legal is been better dude, i did 3/4 legal in year 9, got a 32, scaled to 47!
Gosh, 47 for legal in year 9! :O :D
(On a sadder note, what a pity your effort's pretty much wasted)

Back in my Year 9 days, I was learning how to complete the square for quadratics :P

There are people in my year who still don't know how to do this.  *sighs*

I don't learn anything in class.  We seriously do nothing...

We spent 3.5 hours drawing modulus graphs the other week.  3.5 f**king hours!

It is not that hard:
|f(x)| means draw graph normal and reflect in x-axis
f(|x|)means draw graph normal and reflect in y-axis, once your graph touches it from the right.
Apply graph sketching rules for translations and/or reflections.

To find the hybrid function, just negative the function or the x's, and use the axes intercepts to find the domains.  A year 9 could do it.

I get so frustrated at times regarding the amount of time we waste on nothing...

I know, this is basically all of my classes =|  Especially spesh, it's worse than methods was last year. Teacher just transcribes notes from maths quest to white board, expects us to copy them down, and then get started on the questions. And of course the questions stimulate much thought as is typical of MathsQuest. Honestly, it's pathetic..

LOL I hate those teachers! What a waste of time. Copying the the textbook notes onto the board not even bothering to summarise it or add some stuff to it.
