happy with micro. Happy to escape actuarial with a h 1. Would have liked a little higher in finance and probability but i think for the amount of work i did during the semester i should be happy with that score for probability( dcc) .

How did you go with personal finance? I really don't want to contine with it but don't know what other options I have. :(

I'm sure you went fine with your other results.

A third year finance subject doesn't sound really good if you aren't into Comm stuff. I got a H3 for that

hmm... I agree.

So you got an H1 for biochem and an H3 for personal finance and I'm guessing your other marks were inbetween. That isn't bad!

I might see if I can do a history and philosophy of science breadth stream.

Question:
Got my lit essay worth 50% back in the mail today.
Given mark was H2A+, let's assume that means 79%
I got a H2A for the mid semester essay worth 30%
And a H1 for the first essay, worth 50%.
My overall score?  86% H1.
Howwww does this happen!?  Even if I had gotten 100% on the first essay, I would still average an 83% at the highest.
Is this something to do with modulation?

I'm confused, you just listed assessment worth 130%...

Assuming you made a typo somewhere, yes it could be due to modulation. At the end of the day, when you calculate your GPA your percentage doesn't matter. So an 83 is essentially the same as an 86 when it comes to calculating your GPA (they both weight for 7). So I guess the university might not mind some slight alterations there to spread their students out a bit more.

Email the subject coordinator if you're still curious, I doubt anyone here will have a definitive answer.
