haha, yeah, Malaysia. :) but I went to an English school, and moved here in Grade 4, so my Malay was kinda crap when I first started Indo. :S

No, English is my first language, so that's pretty much all I speak at home. :)
But when I lived in malaysia, all my classes were held in Malay (yeah, imagine learning maths/science/history in a different language! :S) so that has definitely helped. :)

Couldn't find a Indo exam discussion thread?
How did you guys find it?
I thought it was relatively easy, the hardest probably being the reading about batik.
listenings were reallllyy easy. i was stoked with them.
and essay topics weren't bad, one was about the environment which was pretty much my detailed study.

i kinda stuffed up first listening text, rest were really easy.
Main concern i had was i dont feel i expressed my answers for reading that well.

mm i wouldve lost a couple of marks for the batik one.
the mudik one was pretty good though. just made something up for 'what does that author assume about motorists' but otherwise it was good.
and yeah the first listening text was a little harder, i said buy one get one free instead of buy two get one free? obviously not sure.
second was good, third was really good, i'd been having trouble with listening and responding in indo, however this one was fine.

i found the guys accent in the first one to be very heavy, and he wasnt articulate enough to hear clearly (=.

But yea i said the assumption was they all had access to the internet or mobile phones? didnt know.. lol

yeah I said the author assumes that they had internet access and a mobile phone, and that he assumes that they care enough about traffic issues to visit the website haha.
first one will probably get a mark.
