Motivation

Im losing it kids. First term holiday stuffed me up. Now I leave my homework to the last minutes and my marks have dropped a little more. Homework is a real bore, at the start of the year I saw it as somewhat interesting.
I know that we've only got about 4 months left and im not exhausted or anything, I dont think ive burned out, I just think its all a bit boring. I also know that I wont be happy with anything less than 85, 90 even.
How are you guys going?

I am feeling a tad unmotivated, despite (or perhaps because of) the giant pile of holiday homework. The worst thing is, though, despite having finished Semester 1 ranked first for English and in the top 5 for everything else, I feel like I did terribly and like I should just give up and save myself the heartache. I seem to have lost all perspective.

Bring on Semester 2, hehe.

I'm feeling quite the same Visionz. I am generally a motivated student, sometimes even enjoying a nice spot of study, in certain subjects, but recently i've been fading. I'm pretty sure it's just the idea of homework that gets me down, not the study itself. Once i get started i'm fine but initiating a good session is near impossible with all the distractions of the holidays (mainly sleep). I think i just have to straighten up and realise how quick these months will go, because similarly i won't be happy with a score under 90. If i want it i'll have to get my ass into gear though, because i'm becoming a king of procrastination.

I'm feeling very lucky that i was rank 1 in every subject in unit 3, in an weak-average cohort mind you.

I find myself jsut spend nights on fb, getting bored, and STILL not doing work..... only three subjects is killing me :(

English is the most demoralising subject. Even though it was my best sac result in unit 3 i still dislike it and can't bring myself to write an essay unless it's necessary. Right now i could be doing homework, but no im on VN haha.
I need to break my computer.

so many people are losing motivation.
at the moment i'm so unmotivated in a few of my subjects, and have been especially in englang for the last couple of months - there is no way i can do well at this subject so i'm having trouble focusing on it. and have zero motivation for UMAT, absolutely zero.
i'm excited to go to uni though and i will most likely not be doing undergrad medicine, and so my aim of 99+ (even 98+) is no more, and id be happy just doing science@melb so i see no neeed to try that much this year.. haha, all i want is to do really well in at least 2 subjects, and not much else..
