Evangelion! Im doing 6 and haven't dropped any subjects><
And two of my subjects are outside of school (one being englang which is 4hrs/wk) so that adds travel times.
ALSO I will definitely not be getting a perfect score, but still pretty sure that my results won't be too affected by doing 6.
Uni chem is just one evening per week gone, and then 6 full days throughout the year. It's really not that much! Because cramming is definitely possible for the exams even though i do zero work during the year my test/uni prac average is an H1 (along with mostly everyone) since uni assessments are fairly easy (for chem at least).
if you want to do six, do six.
andddd if i drop any of the subjects im doing, i risk the chance of doing worse as i dont know what i will do better at.. as im rank 1 for PE, further is so easy, and methods im quite highly ranked too without much work; i wouldn't drop uni chem as adds to my enter + looks good when applying for USA colleges. uni chem also makes normal chem quite easy, and so im rank 1 without that much work (still doing quite a bit for exams and sacs though), so this could be you with another uni subject+vce?
And so im not dropping any of these four, since i could screw up PE or Further or methods! If i study for all then i am almost guaranteed to do well in something! i also have psych if i really needed as a back up (which is why doing 3/4s in year 11 is the best).. my only concern is i wont be doing that well in englang, i am quite lazy so if i wanted to i could do better, but still not well.. i will try and study hard this semester in everything, but with my time management skills improving, i am getting better espeically since im so close to the end!
6 is absolutely fine, don't be disheartened by what everyone says.. i still go out quite a bit, and although i do 'give up' at times, examples methods where i stopped going to classes for a little.. i have stayed with it all and have not done badly as a result! so now i will attend all my classes, but when we start doing matrices in further i wont be going since it's pointless ahah.
just my two cents..
OH AND EDIT;
im also doing the UMAT which i haven't really studied for, and the SATs which i will begin studying quite a bit for in august for 2 months, and then beginning study for my SAT II subject tests.. yeah so im doing heaps of stuff, and i can manage, why can't you?
