How many past exams is enough?

Okay, I'm starting to gather all the past methods exams but I'm wondering how many exams are enough because there's so many out there and printing them all will just cost so bloody much.

It is different for everybody, generally when you can get high scores consistently (ignoring the purposely designed to be hard papers) then you are getting to the point where the importance of papers decreases

you should aim to do 20 sets e.g. (20 exam ones and 20 exam twos). Persoanlly, i did more, and i would recommend to do more if you can, i mean, if ur starting now, you shoudl have no problems at all getting to 20.

The thing is, with the 20 papers, don't treat that as some arbitary number you have to get to, and that getting to that number, will automatically mean a high score. You ned to make sure you are identifying your weaknesses in each paper you do, and going revison questions between papers, i mean, again, you starting this early gives you the ability and flexibility to really make sure when you finish a paer, you go thu it throughly and make sure if you did it again, you would get 100%.

Essentially, you wanna get to the stage where the only mistakes you make are careless. For msot people, if you have used every exam coreectly and learnt from your mistkes, this should be around 20 papers.

Have fun! :)

ummmmm, well i didn't exactly count....but, i would be guessing in the thirties (for each exam)??

you don't really need to do that much, like i know i got to the point where i could not physically do any more papers. e.g. the weekend between exam one and exam two, i  could not make myself sit down for two hours and do an exam 2 in one sitting, i would have to get up and take a break.

As long as you are using the exams properly, you should be fine :)

well, i liked the hard ones, so go: neap, tsfx, kilbaha, i'm sure ill think of some more evil ones. Yes they are insanely hard, yes thay probs go a lil beyond what you need to know, but thay ARE good for practice, DON'T do them first, do them in the middle, when you are a bit more used to doing the exams.

Again, don't expect to get 100% on them, noone does, but do use them as a learning tool to prepare you for the worst.

And also do VCAA last for the boost of confidence.

I only did fifteen for each.  Do I fail?  :(

yes ez, you fail, fail hard  i mean only 50 and premiers award in calssics....hang ur head in shame.....

but i'm pretty sure i read that you did 50 essays for classics......
