There are many institutions that offer nursing so don't worry.  My advice would be to go onto VTAC's Course Search for more details.

I just clicked:

1.  "Undergraduate Courses"
2.  "Universities" under the "Select an institution type:" field.
3.  And typed "Nursing" in the "Enter a title keyword:" field.
4.  Then it gave me a plethora of choices.

Which VU are you close to? (More people from the west side, nice)

Anyway, i wouldn't go to VU at all.

The other three seem fine, we need so many nurses at this point i doubt it would matter which of those 3 you went to.

I think all offer pretty good nursing degrees. We do have a shortage of nurses, so you should get a job regardless of where you go. Maybe go to open days, ask around about subjects and about specialities, visit the campuses. Just pick the one you see yourself liking the most!

Haha you go to CRC i know where that is. I live near the St Albans campus. The other 3 unis are so far though. I dont have my Ps yet so If i dont get it by the end of this year or beginning of next year, it's going to be like 5hours of transport to get there and back =.="

So you would pick latrobe in my case? What about double degree nursing/midwifery is the extra year worth it?

thats the course i am doing but i'm  jumping between ACU and latrobe.
LAtrobe i get a double degree with like an extra year i can get 2 courses but the travel is double and from stalbans its like a long way.
ACU is in hte city and relatively good and close but 3 years for a single degree.
I DONT KNOW
well midwifery/nursing is the course i am doing :)
