Here it is! :D

Question:

Is it necessary to show both Credit Sales and Cash Sales separately in the Profit and Loss Statement, or can we just lump them together as Sales?
I was doing the CPAP (or CRAP) exam, and I noticed that they had:

Revenue
Credit Sales          xxx
Cash Sales           xxx
less Sales Returns xxx xxx

Is it okay to group them together?

Yeah, normally I just group Credit and Cash Sales together... to save time and space. I don't think it really matters... as long as your (total) Sales equals the amount of Credit + Cash Sales.

How's everyone going with their Accounting revision? :)

I've probably done about 10~11 exams... but I've got a couple which are incomplete (90% done) because I have no idea what the answer is. I haven't done any exams under timed conditions yet... will do soon. Most of the exams I have done have been so-so... most of them being straight-forward, but there is always a question that I don't know to the answer to. It's annoying.

I find NEAP and Insight are quite good exams.

I generally now lose marks on careless errors (dates/misreading the question etc.) or not getting the question at all! :P

How about you guys?

I've done 12, need to get more off my teacher though. I think if I can get Accounting revision out of the way early I can focus on other subjects. They rarely take me longer than one hour if I'm concentrating.
I only ever think I may have lost marks because the company practice exams only give one possible answer for theory questions, so if mine isn't that one I can never be sure.
But the prac is fine, it's so methodical and the bank of possible questions is not huge.
Looking forward to getting in there and doing it!
Good luck EPL, hope you get your deserved 40. Good luck everyone else.

Seeing as though everyone's getting sentimental, I'm joining in lol. darcy42 and EPL: I'm gonna post up my exam mistakes/error document which has all the exams I have listed soon (when I finish my last prac exam. I'm almost finished - week max :P). Have a peek at that and let me know if I have some exams that you guys want. You both have been a big help throughout the year. :D

Study hard for the last month or so!

Sam

Could I get/or you post up TSSM 2007-10, TSSM 2010, NEAP 2009, QAT 2005 and COMPAK 2009 exams...? I hope this isn't too much to ask.

I think I've either done the rest of them or have got them already.

LOL NICE scores btw. :)

Although the COMPAK 2008 exam wasn't too good (77/90)... comparatively. :P
