andy if you got a really low A and a high A+ at the end of you, you could still get ~40

i got an A :(
there goes my 43+ for chem :(

If you got a high A and get a high A+ at the end of the year you could get anywhere up to a 45 raw....so keep studying! :)

Yep agreed, high A + high A+ + solid sacs = 45 raw is definitely possible!

LOL!
But but...
Hypothetically... If I got 95% but my goal was 98% I would probably still be sad.

In terms of getting into uni it wouldn't make a colossal difference. Try thinking you're gona get A+ in your easiest subject (which you chose just to boost your ENTER) and getting C+ :'(

midyear (mid A)
end of year (mid/high A+)
sacs (A+)

assuming you've got a good ranking...
if mid A+ then low 40s
if high A+ then mid-low 40's (highest probably 43-44)

I honest dont think you can get a 45 with A for mid years. this is my opinion alright

cos high A = top10%
Assume you have high A+ for ur end of year top 1%
And then you have a high A+ for sacs top 1%

That averages out to be top 4% and a 45 is top 2%.

If you think about it that way then only around a 42 MAYBE 43 is possible. I also thought ur A in ur mid years will lower ur sac mark, since a good exam mark scales up ur sac marks.

a good exam mark from yourself will not scaled up your sac marks, that is a terrible rumour.

I'd like know how sacs work then...

I was averagin low/mid A's for revs last year and ranked about 10th in a cohort of 40. Then got 3 A+'s and managed the higest study score. My teacher told me it was because i must have done really well on the exam..?

Exams do influence your SAC marks.

But its quite a complicated process to how it works. I still have no idea.
