I feel for those who aren't satisfied with their results, but isn't it a "You get what you put in" sort of things?

If you ask me, an A is still a good result.
I wish you all well for your further studies.

Remeber: ATAR doesn't mean everything, I know 3 people who are currently doing medicine; they just had to do extra work at university and such.

It doesn't always come down to "You get what you put in" and i think that's is why some people are disappointed with their marks. Without even opening my result, I know it definitely doesn't reflect the amount of effort I've spent studying. At the end of the day, its just a grade, it doesn't determine where you'll end up in the future so just brush it off and put a smile on your face ;]

Lets turn this around for everyone who is disappointed with a B+. Lets say your B+ is low, like really low and you wanted an A right?

So you would be off by like what 4 or max 5 marks from an A out of 75?

You can still recover this at the end of the year! if you ace end of year and only lose like 2 or 3 marks you've in a sense covered up the gap am i right/? Sure losing only 2 or 3 is not going to be easy but dont give up hope.

I'm sure as sure. She didn't get a special consideration thing either (because she wasn't going through a bad situation). She said she was "shattered" but then "worked [her] butt off", and viola, 37. I'm using it as my motivation too :)

ur highest ss with a B or B+ apparently is probably 37-38 rraw which is .. 42 or so scaled

but just like me ( who got a B and about to cry)
its pretty much impossible . unless u dont drop marks on the end of year
.. i think a realistic goal for me .. is .. 34

goodluck for pharm

Wow of lot of us want to do pharmacy! I didn't realise :)
The lowest ATAR score intake that Monash took in for Pharmacy was a 90 point something- but that person must have smashed the UMAT. (I actually think that is confidential information- my careers counsellor had to log into something to see those results)
