I'd imagine if you got the same as your first exam, you'd get the 40 you're wanting.

Actually... 3 low A+ can get a 39.. which means he has to get a mid to high A+ in the end of year exam to get a 40.
It's all over now..

No possible way to get 40+ if I got a B then? :buck2:

I'm no expert... but I would say that you probably couldn't get 40+ with a B in the mid-year exam. Unless... you do REALLY, REALLY well on the rest of your Unit 4 SACs (top rank in the class/cohort) and same goes for the Unit 4 exam (ace it!) - which may then give you an outside chance of getting 40 or higher... though that's just me... I'm unsure though... since, I haven't heard anyone get 40+ with a B in the mid-year exam. - But like I said that's just me... :S (If anyone would like to correct me on that, feel free.)

Good Luck with the rest of the year! :)

Called up VCAA and asked them where my statement of marks is, and they said that they'd have a look and ring me back. Three days later, no response.
*sigh*
Still waiting...

I have been Doing well with my sacs. Pretty much aced all of it except this mid year.-_- I will work hard though. I've started practicing exams since we've pretty much finished budgeting. But if there is really a chance to get 40+ if I ace my next one then that's enough to motivate me

And thanks :)

I'm in a similar position to you, i just scraped in for A+ (80/90) and i think i may be rank 1. I'm guessing low 40s, maybe even 39~42.
Can someone confirm.

thanks! Yeah same thing happened to me, for a theory question out of 3 one of the examiners gave me 2 and the other gave me 3. I guess one just didn't like my explanation quite as much as the other haha.
