Hi, I'm a big noob at English, and I have a huge english SAC this upcoming Wednesday. 1500 words in 1 hour 30 minutes.

I think I wanna take a expository stance at the prompt 'Reality is a burden, its understandable we sometimes 'escape' through denial, fantasies and even lies'

I am at a mind blank right now. Can someone help me conjure up ideas I can tackle?

ChairmanMao, in order to make betterment glorious prompt of the hallowed subject of the english, recommended to consider past experiences in forging the great Chinese nation, the longest march, and the 'denial, fantasies and lies' of the traitorous Chinese collaborators with Western powers.
The proletariat engaged in the noble rebuilding effort, may occasionally step out of line from reality, and import dangerous and egregious Western influences like music, the arts and capitalism into the glorious nation of the people's democratic republic. Sometimes these enemies of the state must be returned to reality, awoken from their fantasy of the 'fake freedom' of rootless cosmopolitanism and summarily brought to back reality (i.e. unlawfully executed).

Perhaps, a dossier of your personal memoirs may assist the glorious nation in understanding the true meaning of reality.

How can reality be a burden?

Reality for most people today is unbearable
We are surrounded by a polluted world.
We live in pain. It can be physical pain, which comes from disease, physical combat or accidental injury. It also can be mental pain, from the effects of our daily contact with other humans, our jobs and all of the problems listed above.
We live in fear. Most of this emotion is of our own making. We have created a religious system that generates fear. We live among alien life forms that feed on the emotions generated by fear. Thus it is that we are programmed from the time we are little children to be afraid.

We fear the unknown. We fear darkness. We fear failure. We fear each other. And most of all, we fear death. The older people get the more fear-bound we seem to be.
People want to escape reality, because reality is too painful or nightmarish to emotionally/physically/mentally deal with in a functional way.
There are various specific reasons as to *why* each person wants this escape, whether it is escape from an unhealthy relationship, from a responsibility, from memories, or from unresolved conflict and grief from one's family of origin.
Sometimes a temporary escape from reality is healthy, although there is a risk of addiction (i.e. drugs) or destruction (i.e. suicide) to the method of escape from reality. Addiction and death provoke a cycle of painful reality to those around the person wanting to escape reality.

What are the ways of escape?
Go through denial, fantasies and lies' and how u can escape in terms of these three u mentioned

Denial can act as a powerful coping mechanism. Because the pain of grief can be unbearable at times, taking energy away from work, friends and family – delaying the acceptance of loss through denial can be a relief. Like salve on a wound, denial can take the edge off and make the work day bearable.
