I don't like the way you people mock others who do not get very high scores. So what if your school doesn't have someone who gets over 40 in a subject? My school hasn't had anyone with over 40 in English in a while, but why should that matter? I might add, a 49 is a very good score, no matter what subject it is....
However if you are just joking around, it's not very funny.

Ha ha.

How are we mocking anyone? We're discussing the fact that we both go to bad schools and how detrimental it is to our scores

What I am trying to say here is that a high study score, in ANY subject, is still possible regardless of the school you go to.

The dux at my school got a 99.80 with 50s in Accounting, Psychology and Further Maths.. subjects that people usually see as 'easy' and cannot score well with.

Yet, these perfect study scores were still very much achievable in a school like mine.. only 5% of the year 12 cohort gets over 90.

We have at least 5 over-40s for Methods each year... and I'm not joking. It is still achievable, trust me.

I think you're being a bit of negativist here... you can still get bloody good scores.

Mao is proof that you can go to an "average" school and still get good results. Blaming others is just finding an excuse for you getting a "detrimental score".

You can't get bloody good scores if you go to a shit school and your ranking is near bottom... regardless of how good you go in exams. The system is too dependent on a fair internal marking system and unbiased teachers. I probably shouldn't have pissed teachers off near the start of the year... :(

Lol I understand where you're coming from. My school is... let's say, not the best. But hey, isn't it yourself who has made you ranked "near the bottom"? If you say that other people are "detrimental" to your scores, but then you say you are ranked near the bottom.... I don't understand. If they didn't perform as well, wouldn't you be a higher rank? Just putting it out there.
At my school for further maths, I had awesome SAC scores (near perfect). Come the results, they were moderated down to an A despite me getting A+s for my exams. Wtf. But yeah life goes on, and I guess it sucks for those people who want to achieve 99.95 (haha like your alias). It is true that the moderation can be unfair, but there's nothing we can do about it. Just work your hardest for the exams.

Well if that's the case... I'm ranking at the top of each of my subjects! :D

And yes, Mao... did bloody well in year 12!

Even this guy from Cranbourne Secondary College even got over 99... highly unexpected!
