It's actually pretty easy to get over 40.

If yours is a high A, you will need roughly 2 mid A+'s for SACs and end of year exam.
And with your maximum marks... from another thread, someone said that his friend got 45 with an A in midyear.

Don't worry, there're a lot of people getting 40+ with an A, or even 2 A's. And besides, this is your first 3+4 subject, it won't affect your ATAR score much if it's your bottom subject.
It's all over now..

THANKS! YEAH, TRUE... it is my first 3/4 subject... though I still wanna do well in it! :P HOPEFULLY I can get the required 2 A+'s for the SACs and end-of-year exam to be sure of 40+! :)

What you people fail to realise is that an A+ does not necessarily ensure you a study score of 40+.
The mathematics behind it is simple:
the top 10% are awarded an A+ in the midyear exam
the top 8% are awarded a study score of 40+

2010: Methods [45]  Accounting [46]
2011: English  Specialist  Chemistry  Physics  Geography

Dude, we all know that an A+ does not gurantee for a study score of 40+.
We don't talk about it because it's so simple and straight forward that it's not even worth mentioning. =.=

Well minimum A+ is 78/90, so yea it would fit under a low A+, leaning towards a medium A+ (84/90 is medium)

Oh yeah also.. just a thought but A+ just means top 10% result of Victoria ya? So if like 80% of that top 10% got a low A+, then it's possible to get over 45 with a low A+?

That would be cool. :P
