Bachelor of science clearly in

What do you think the clearly in for next year will be? Last year it was around 89, would it be something similar next year? I have a feeling I will just miss the 89 and get an 87 or 88, do you think that would be enough for acceptance? It does say the minimum ENTER is 85.

Well no one can be sure what the outcome will be, as every year changes!
It'll all depend on the number of people who want to get into the course and their ATARs.
2009: Further Maths | Literature
2010: English | Biology | Chemistry | Methods | Psychology
94.50
2011: Pharmacy/Commerce Monash
2012: Second year yo!
Certificate III in Business
Certificate IV in Business Adminstration
Feel free to ask or message me for anything, I don't bite :]

I would be surprised if it goes up again. If you're only a bit under you could easily get an offer anyway. The arts clearly in was 88 and my friend got a second round offer with an 85. Just some extra waiting and hoping :P

I think it may go up as it is now the only way to do engineering at UoM. Pure speculation though.

Arts was 89.00.

Wow.  UoM rarely gives out second round offers and most of them are to Access Melbourne applicants.  I guess quite a few arts students decided to defer or not take up the offer that year.

EDIT:  If this was for last year, after looking at the stats, the Fringe ENTER was 82.80 so that could also be a factor.

What do you mean by the "preferred degree"?  Do you mean post-graduate studies like medicine and law?

He could have been I guess, he might have qualified for the medical category but he never said anything about it.

It was '08 entry btw (as in he did VCE in 2008)

e, yeah i'm pretty sure he does. basically you have to do a general degree before being allowed to study a more specific one. the general degree doesn't have to be done at UoM

I've been told that you have to do a "general" degree before you do any other... something like that.

Because now UoM only has "general" undergraduate degrees. All the "specific" degrees have now been moved to postgraduate.

That is, if you want to study at UoM and UoM only, you have to do a "general" Bachelor of Arts, Arts(Media and Communication), Biomedicine, Commerce, Science, Music or Dance undergraduate degree, before you can do stuff like Veterinary, Medicine, etc.. as your postgraduate/Masters degree.

Reason being they have removed pretty much every undergraduate degree except for these and now only offer postgraduate degrees for the rest.

Undergraduate, postgraduate get it? :D

Though of course you CAN do degrees in other courses at other universities
