mmm went in early in the morning ~10~11-ish, but that was already like a sardine can.
tried to go in the seminars, but didnt see a point in sitting in there. The information was good, but gathering them really only takes 5 minutes. didnt see anything new or extraordinarily good, and the second floor was a joke~ (what was the point

)
I personally thought it was information-too-late. Had I gone last year, I'd have realised the competition i was facing, and actually worked a bit harder. The brochures and an insight into uni-life would also be a bit more motivation.
And the revision guide/lecture providers stands were close to jokes, with bland faced people standing behind them not wanting much other than money (except this guy from TSFX who was advertising their internet free-notes thing).
NEAP's stand was probably the best out of all the resources mob. their CD and that crazy competition was great for spirits. even though i havent had a look at the contents of that CD, it was a great initiative.
and on the other hand, VCAA looked like they didnt want to be there. Blank faces, and somewhat sick of just handing out past exams. Though I don't blame them, they should add a lot more to it, they are after all, the most important authority in our secondary education. and VTAC shouldn't have been hidden in that corner...
highlights of the day:
FREE FRISBEE from monash, that's why they're so cool
that CD from NEAP, it even comes with a chain~!
the NEAP bookmarks + stress test, it's probably just bullcrap, but great for laughs
TSSM pack, looking past the bullcrap advertising, they have a "Do Not Disturb" sign, awesomeness.
Vic Uni, not for their great presentation, but for the all-too-familiar but rather cool "Thirst For Knowledge" water (it tasted crap, but it was so worth it)
ahhhhh~
