Text and traditions exams?

hi, so its pretty obvious text and traditions is a neglected subject on vcenotes
but i was wondering if anyone knows where to get study material for text from, such as exams or study guides
so far only I've only found practice exams from VCAA but since there is a new study design, more relevant exams would be appreciated.
any help?

note: even if you can't help, a little acknowledgement that someone actually read this post would be nice too

um i don't know anything about this subject

but first point is its probably neglected because not many students actually do it
also isn't there a study guide in a bookshop for this unit? maybe not ... or maybe you have to scab some off your teacher
also you can tell if someone read this post by looking at the number of views of this topic by going to texts and traditions subheading

heyy, I do Text and tradition ( The Quranic Section though) .... yes this is a new study design and you won't find many exam type questions.

Have you tried the 2008/2009 vcaa exam?

My text teacher is one of the examiners and she said that during early october they'll be a Text and Tradition revision lecture held at Melbourne Uni I think that will talk to us about what is expected in the exam, show us sample A+ exam answers and notes, lot's and lots of notes :D

I can keep you updated if you want, or possibly send you my notes, dw I don't think you do the Quranic part, but the lecture will be board and about the subject as a whole! :)

Lol i did gospel of luke as well. i think the lecture was run at st vincents hospital by the chief examiner and someone else high up in the TAT food chain. i ended up writing out about 10 pages of notes from the 90 minute lecture. it was $5 per person i think, my school paid

On a side note... texts & traditions stuffed up my english skills REALLY BADLY...

i was an average A+ english student in year 10. then in year 11 my texts & traditions teacher taught me to write short concise sentences containing relevant mark-awarding points, with NO padding/descriptive words. my english grades dropped to a D... as i applied the same to my essays
this year i've had to slowly regain my english skills. it's a horrible subject in a whole... totally destroys your writing abilities, not to mention you gotta read thousands of scholars books and quote them etc
