Because everyone has to do CAS, or is it the other way around? (scale less)

Probably scale less thus allowing spesh to be actually different do methods by more than 1/2 study scores...

Does Spech scaling less ==> Methods scaling less?

Apparently the methods and spesh courses are supposed to be taken simultaneously. So VCAA proabably adjusts your methods score to fit your spesh score in the scaling process.
EG 38 in methods and 33 in spesh should equal the same scaled score

the reason why methods and spesh are coming very close together in terms of scaling is simply becuase more "less talented " people are doing spesh, meaning that the cuttoffs are brought down. However im sure the spesh scaling decline will discontinue this year since its already decreased around 4-5 compared to previous years/. I hope that methods stays the same, only because im doing it

Because Spesh is harder than methods which is harder than further, they always make sure that Spesh scales more than Methods which scales more than Further.

They normally don't have to do it, but in the case that spesh and methods scale the same by their normal scaling algorithm, then they'll add at points to spesh scaling such that it is higher than methods

What of the unlikely scenario where Methods happens to have the hader exam one year?

Scaling is not based on the difficulty of the exam. And neither will it effect the "order of difficulty" which is the basis for Further<<Methods<Spesh. So, in the end, I don't think it makes any difference whatsoever.

So if Methods happens to scale more this year, does that mean spesh scaling will increase as well? Or is there more considerations?
