Hi guys just wondering does anybody know what letter grades you need to get a 40 scaled in Accounting. I got an A on my midyear but my sac results look like they will only manage a B+ at most so I was wondering does anybody know whether if it is still possible for me to get a 40 Scaled score this year if my marks end up being A for exam 1 B or B+ for SACS and A for exam 2 thanks

I think you need at least to get 40 (raw):

- A for the mid-year exam

- A for SACs

- A for the end-of-year exam

NOTING that it does depend on how low/high your grade is.

GETTING 40 in the Accounting is the top 8% of the state, thus, I think with your A, B+ and an A you could end up getting a study score of 38~39 (which is then scaled up to either 39 or 40 depending on how you look at it.) In short, I think it's very much possible for you to get a scaled 40 for Accounting!

*PEOPLE feel free to correct me on this...*

Good Luck for the rest of year! :)

Considering 9% of students get A+ in exam 1 and 9.5% in exam 2 and 40+ students are in the top ~8%, I would say at least a mid A+ should put you in the 40-42 bracket

I'm presuming that as well as getting a mid A+ for the end-of-year exam, you would need your SAC grade (GA 2) to be relatively high... to be looking at 40~42.

Ok thanks I got 149/180 which was an A the range was 143 to 155 out of 180 would that be considered a high A or a medium A so as long as I get a+ for my end of year exam a 40 scaled looks like a possibility
