Cheating on sacs

Well, you don't have to tell me if you've done it before. ::)

But has anyone caught someone doing this?

We have a sac in accounting and most of the people beside me are passing around the practice sac that we had (and is unusually similar to the sac itself). I just ignored them and concentrated on my test.

i know a girl who got caught cheating for a sac and got 0. but she was one of the smartest english students and tried extra extra hard throughout the rest of the year to compensate for this and still managed a forty something.

Some people MUST cheat. Score higher than me and your mark is tainted, for i am the unassisted benchmark of academic prowess.

I've been tempted to before, but it's just stupid. Why would you risk failing a sac, or unit because of it, and if you do the work beforehand then you'll get a better mark than anyone who cheats anyway.

As for personal anaecotes, this one guy at my school (tech-head) managed to hack into our school's intranet and subsequently into whatever place the maths methods sacs were kept, printed out a couple of coppies and shared them with some of his friends... everyone who he shared them with failed that sac and he failed the unit (only year 11 so though it didn't matter that much). The stupid thing is that he has not got bellow 90% on a freakin' maths test in his life- he would've aced it anyway.

one of my teachers pretty much tells us here is your sac, here are the answers...don't cheat.
i think you'd be pretty stupid not to cheat. :P
well he doesn't really say that, but the sacs we get have the company logo printed on them so its pretty easy to find a copy of them as well as the answers if you're motivated enough. surprisingly though, many students don't cheat knowing this :o

Pretty dumb to cheat - you risk failure and studying for SACs also prepare you for the exams, which are worth everything and you can't cheat on.

My logic for cheating is : that in the end, your not going to be proud with that mark cause you havent earned it or at least thats how I see it.

In saying that, there are quite alot people who are quite eager to parade around their scores after telling everyone they cheated.

Nah haven't cheated since probably year 10 english..LOL

Yeah no point in cheating, too risky, and who's to say you are going to get any better than actually studying for it?

I agree to what most are saying, it is more rewarding to work hard and get the mark you deserved than copying stuff off~
