Vocab has its uses. Have you ever read an essay where the writer uses the same words over and over? Particularly in Language Analysis i've read essays in which every language technique 'encourages the reader to...' I would rather read an essay with a few words I haven't heard before than one using one word 10-20 times.

Exactly. If you're as good as EvangelionZeta then there's no point but for those average 7-8 ers out there vocab could definately help. After a while, ideas are the same or similar and your expression is what distinguishes you from others.

We might all think "that guy is a dickhead" but for some of us "that guy is a pompous prat."

If you've done them all, copy out the questions you got wrong, dont look at them for a week, and try do them next week.

Rinse and repeat until you get them right and know the method once you see such a question.

Then (try) and find some new papers and you should be able to recognize more questions

I'm pretty sure there's a number of exams beyond which any more practice exams have minimal benefits. It varies for person to person, but I'll say it's about 15.

Yer its a logarithmic relationship.

with no intention to sound condescending in any way, if u were consistently scoring sub 72% on the exams then u shouldnt have continued on with them. As taiga has said, record your errors, realise ur fault then attempt the same questions again. if you find that it is a particular concept u are having trouble with, go back and do the chapter reviews in ur textbook, and once the exams u have already done are not so fresh in ur mind, re-do them. you'll get there :)

I think personally.
its not about how many exams you do.
you keep doing them untill you can get 100% on 3-5 in a row . then you stop

for some . it may be within the first 5-10 exams ... for others it may take 50+.

but that's just what i do anyhow :D
