How do Politicians benefit from GM foods?

Identify three methods by which GM foods may benefit a population?

List two specific exmaples where GM foods have helped members of the population?

-Gary is a farmer who grows cotton. He changes to GM cotton so his crops are resistant to heliothis moths, and he saves money from not having to buy pesticides/greater crop yeild ect.
-Lucy is a farmer who grows cotton. She changes to GM cotton so his crops are resistant to heliothis moths, and she saves money from not having to buy pesticides/greater crop yeild ect.

Genetically modified foods can include for example frost resistant tomatoes or other foods that can be better stored all year round, ready to go into the market even though the food is not 'in season'.
