I don't really understand what you are getting at here. If there are already steps, then there is no problem.

I put that in because several times during practice exams last year I failed to put down any working for 'easier' questions, even though they were worth multiple marks. Looking back on it, I suppose "unnecessary" should be replaced by simplistic and I also doubt the plausibility of earning marks for simply transcribing information already given.

I don't know if this will actually help anyone, but this is my humble attempt last year. If you do choose to look at it, bear in mind that it is for the (now dead) non-CAS course.

^ Sorry, didn't really make sense..
Just think for example- there is a 5 mark question, you write down 6 steps and an answer, only 5 marks will count of course.. but if one of the 6 steps is wrong, it will count as a 4 even though there was extra steps to consider that were correct..

Yeah book's pretty sweet, for the off chance of having a mental blank during the exam 2. Some of the stuff he did during the lecture was too basic and sort of time wasting though
