I decided to have a look at matrices right now, and it seems it is true that matrices is piss.

lol especially doing methods as the whole topic is covered in methods.

1. Matrices
Fairly simple and concepts are quite easy to grasp and apply once one becomes accustomed to the concept of a matrix and matrix multiplication.

2. Graphs and relations
 Good for methods-minded students.

3. Number patterns
 Quite easy, several snags though.

4. Business maths
Straight forward, not too many tricks, a little dry though.

5. Trigonometry and geometry
Too easy to misinterpret, not bad other than this though.

6. Networks
Simply because I hate it and think it is confounding - a waste of space in a maths book.

I was going to do it this year, but ended up doing Literature instead. So I did read the text over the Summer holidays.

my order of preference is matrices, business math and number patterns. Matrices is by far the easiest. Business is also easy because everything can be solved using TVM solver and number patterns is easy once you've had practice doing some of the more confusing questions.
"Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something, not even me.  Alright?  You got a dream, you gotta protect it.  People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it.  If you want something, go get it, period." - Chris Gardner

Matrices definitely.
Some people find linear really hard, but if you can do methods then it should be a walk in the park.
