Has anyone heard of or seen 'Coke' anywhere in Chemistry? :idiot2:

I think it is made of up carbon, so does that make it an allotrope of carbon, just like silicon dioxide, diamond and graphite? (I don't think so though)

(Okay, technically, it is a carbonaceous compound, which means it is rich in Carbon and not made up of carbon, but at this level, I think I'm just meant to know that Coke = lots of carbon. :/)

I tried looking in the textbook but couldn't find any traces of Coke.........

But it's in my notes! Saying something like "the use of coke produces either CO which is.... or H which is....". I guess that's all I have to know~

Look in matt123's chemistry book and you will find traces of coke
vce: english, methods, spesh, chemistry, physics, geography.
