Wait... VCAA is easier than all the external companies exams right? And the exams get harder as you go back in time?
That could be a possible reason... i'm getting crappy marks on the ~2005 ones, and the more recent ones are a lot easier and the questions actually make sense.

I don't think that you can surely do your best in the exams, but rather, ensure your AVERAGE is considered one of the best. :).

VCAA is generally easier, just the wording haha, in fact if the external companies stop going on about garbage and actually made 'easier-to-interpret' questions, they're all basically asking for the same things as VCAA exams.

I also find VCAA uses less tricky mathematical notation so it's easier for students who are good at mathematical procedure, just not learned in the language.

Ive' decided not to do TSSM and I never do TSFX. Do you guys think this is stupid? I've reasoned that TSSM is just being impossible, worse than chem 2009 so I won't bother. I did do a bit of tssm 08 or 09.

Tssm i did exam two and one for 2010 and vowed never to touch tssm again and i have compeltely avoided tsfx altogeather. If i was more organised like i was last year with methods, ideally i would have done them but this year i'm really pressed for time so not bothering and now just tacking the VCAA papers between now and the exams, might also give some other papers a go, but defs not tssm or tsfx

yeh ive basically avoided tsfx, although i tried one for chem it realli put me to the point of breakdown.... i wud not recommend any1 doin tsfx especially not at this crucial time where u need 2 build up ur confidence
