Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone has study guides or tips or something for Bypass, by Michael McGirr. I can't seem to find any online, and it'd be really good if I could find something to help me before the exam. :/

Hahaha I cannot imagine studying that book in year 12. I read a few chapters of it and it was boring then McGirr came in to speak to us and told us how funny he thought the book was.

:D

i know.

its a boring read...for a book i thought was a novel.

and then all the ideas that our teachers said he intended while he was writing- the spirituality and the memorials etc- he didn't even think about anything when he wrote it. there was no authorial intention. he even said so himself. yet we can't write that on the exam...:(

Yeah, it is the dullest book I have ever read. I think I could watch paint dry in wet weather, and enjoy that more.
Thanks, liv. :)
