I think an image would just be a bit of a stretch. They have to cater for the people who aren't good at english, the lower 50% too you know.

That's what I thought. But the lecturer said "Don't be surprised if there's an image people". You were there remember hahaha. So that's what got me actually thinking this could happen..

The image will be accompanied by a prompt. Otherwise you could write whatever you want, and there would be no boundaries for marking.

Maybe they even might put two language Analysis.. the CSE exam came with like 3 >.<

Yeah, i wouldn't worry too much, Ross Hugards at VATE said there will always be something written on it ( Context/visual) although we ( our school) hasn't practised much.

Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

I've done one or two essays with a picture. As already stated the picture will always be accompanied by a prompt. Personally I just ignore the picture but that's me, I'm not the most 'creative' person and context writing is far too abstract already for me let alone if I had to write about a picture.

Nar sorry I don't. But yer I spoke to the head of english today and she said that she thought last year would have a picture..So it's kinda overdue..Then again she said there would have to be a prompt with it. And that the picture would only help fuel more ideas.

My English teacher said that apparently, at a VCAA English meeting, they came out and decided that they're removing the possibility of an "image prompt".  Rest easy,.

I pray you're right. I'd laugh if an image came up. We'll just have to wait and see :(

Stop worrying guys! :D Even if there IS a picture.. it will be accompanied by a prompt (just as per usual) and it will only serve to stimulate our own senses anyway.

If anything, a visual will help to build our ideas, build our complexity of though, and therefore, create a better response.
