That is garbage, it is impossible to hit the 1k mark whilst playing a game.
I averaged at around 350 in melee, which has a significantly higher APM demand than dota. My dota apm was like 50 hahah

I think in one of his games Julyzerg peaked at around 800 apm lol. His average is usually nearly 500
