Mid years soon!

Hey guys,

Just wondering with around 7 weeks remaining before mid years how everyone is approaching them.

Although I only have the one mid year (Physics), I'm finding it really difficult to find time to concentrate on it becuase of consistent SAC's in all my other subjects.

It's also difficult because we don't finish the course until a week before the exams.

Does anyone else find themselves in a similar position? Any words of wisdom?  :)

yeh i understand wat your going through i have a mid-year accounting exam and also find it difficult to get ahead because of the consistent sac's. But i have a bit of a break till my next sac so i will be able to put in some quality studying time. 7 weeks isnt far away at all

Try to finish the course yourself earlier. I fear one week isn't enough. My school finished unit 3 physics ten weeks before the exam last year, although our understanding was rather shaky, we had enough time to consolidate.

10 weeks?!!!! thats almost the entire term two....! :P Ahmad u psycho

but I agree with finishing sciences/acc course very early. Myself and a couple friends have already self-studied unit 3 and are just purely doing revision questions, getting as much practice as possible.

Actually we finished before term 2 started. But I was forced to finish that early, if it were entirely upto me..

I know the feeling of lack of concentration, also. I have sixteen SACs this term (only had two in Term 1), so I feel like I don't have time to study for my mid-year (only got one, thankfully!). Plus, I've been neglecting Psychology recently. But I'm planning to start studying it on Monday (roughly seven weeks before the exam)
