sac marks and study score

hi, my school coordinator always tell me that the study score depends on the exam marks and not much of the sac marks..
is that true?

i want 35+ raw for methods and chemistry and my average is around 78%.... btw i got an A for mid yr for chem.
is it still possible to get that mark?

my friend got 70% average for his accounting sac which turned out to be an A suprisingly and A for mid year and a  B for end of year. He got 33 raw.  I know that our ranking is not about the average but do you think i will be able to get A for my sac marks and 35+ for my study score?
