This guy's incredible sure, but does English really count as a language? It's not a LOTE wherein which you learn a language's vocabulary and grammar, it's some formulative laboratory where you write on ideas and analyse texts. The English language is only the means.

D.Ha is talented, but in a different field- you can't comapre apples to oranges   ;D

Still, a 47 for Latin is... BEAST, isn't Latin like CRAAAAAZY hard?

I guess the point is she got 50 in english. To do that well means having an excellent command of the language and perhaps having a better grasp of the grammar and structure than you would need to get that score in a LOTE.
I got 34->45 french and 33->48 latin and was nowhere near fluency in either, only being able to limp through the exams with a dictionary and much embarrassed stumbling (in the oral).

True that.

All those languages (besides english) have intense competition though, hence their hectic scaling.

Is there a limit on the number of languages that can count towards your aggregate (or how many can be in primary 4) as there is with maths?

Yeah, I know a few - but to get > 47 you need to basically come 1st or 2nd in the state. That said, there's a smaller population doing Latin. So since it's relative, there will always be some people getting those high scores, just not a lot :P
