I was right about the laundry powder question is my initial reaction :P

Might have a read after I eat!

e,

Poorly worded responses such as ‘a chemical messenger sent to a specific receptor’ were incorrect as hormones generally can move throughout the whole organism.

This highlighted how irritating I find VCE assessment since that is a solid definition of a hormone.

Surprised they awarded the mark for "mitochondria" rather than "mitochondrion", was expecting them to be ridiculous on that as well.

Still don't like q7d, it's too broad

Found 8d to be a bit specific for the 2 marks

:(... seriously i know that i had definitely lost 18 marks which would bring my overall score to 57/75, but i dont know where else they could have taken marks :S
So B+ was like a 51.5 or 52 i think, that means the examiners would have taken a further 5 marks or so off... even my teacher thought that with my answers i would have lost 20 marks tops :/ (we went through it llike a day after after and i told her the answers that i wrote)
Thoughts??

Hahaha, 7d - hahahahahahahahaha 'should it be taken with food?'.  Oh god.
WILL I BE COMPENSATED IF THINGS GO WRONG?
I'm not surprised at that one, it is the Western way to demand compensation!

VCAA suck.  No explanation for the laundry question.  I'll tell you why.  Because it was a fucking dumb question.

And where is the "Will this drug suppress my immune system and make me more vulnerable to other infections?" question, because it was an immunosuppressant.

Why do they insist on asking questions that have nothing to do with biology.

Subcategory of "are there any side effects"

The question had to do with biology, it was just a crap question

Multiple choice seemed to have sorted a fair few people out, Short answer pretty straight forward,

Didn't like the laundry question as many have said,

Otherwise pretty fair.
